Mono Monday - Seasonal

We have an incredibly productive apple tree in our garden.

The problem is that I don't like apples and it is so big we can't reach the higher branches.  Everyone has so many apples anyway this year you can't give them away.

Yesterday we "pruned" the tree which involved some drastic work with a chainsaw.   Three wheelbarrow loads of windfalls were put in the neighbour's green bin to be collected on Wednesday.  (in case you are wondering, she is away and gave her permission)
