Major Frank Foley..

Major Foley managed to get thousands of Jews out of Germany just before the war.
Rescuing them from almost certain death.
He died in Stourbridge in 1958 and his heroic action only came to light after his death.
On 18 September 2018, Prince William unveiled a statue of Major Frank Foley in West Midlands town of Stourbridge's Mary Stevens park in the presence of Foley's great-nephew, Stephen Higgs.
