Getting the sparkle back

The Eildons from the Tweed

You can only see two of the three Eildon Hills, but that happens quite often as well as one or more of the hills springing into view when you least expect it. T and I had a great day today walking from the cottage along one side of the Tweed and back along the other via Mertoun Bridge, St Boswells and Dryburgh suspension bridge. I've included some extra photos as it was such a splendid day, just like an autumn day should be. One is a view from the cottage where you can see the suspension bridge as well as more of the autumnal trees and the other is of the mill near Mertoun Bridge where you can see the remains of the cauld for the mill and also how the river bank has eroded.
