Be prepared!

With a warm scarf and sunglasses!  Today was a cool 17°C and next Wednesday it is supposed to be around   23°C with plenty of sun!  So this is my best effort for seasonal weather in the UK at this time of the year!!

With many thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting Mono Monday - seasonal.

A PINK mono to remind you that this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and could you click on this link to help provide mammograms to those who could not otherwise afford  one.  Many thanks!

Flu jab this morning - it seems the over 65 vaccine has greater protection for three strains of flu whereas those under 65 have a lesser dose but for 4 strains!  We don't have the Japanese strain.  Fingers crossed!

Quick trip into town to sort out bank and buy me some bamboo socks!  Contrary to what you're thinking they are lovely and soft!  From our Fair Trade shop.

Spent the afternoon making a card for our Grand Daughter and preparing my lesson.  Ro picked up little Missy from school and we had Guacamole and Corn chips as a snack.  Chicken and mash potatoes followed by Yogurt for dinner.  (Ro in charge of this last part!)  I gather Mum arrived with Grandbaby and she joined in the meal and really loved Ro's Mash which had  butter and milk!  Hope she is OK with the dairy!!  Mum is trying to reintroduce dairy foods gradually into her diet.

A productive day!
