Glad it's late November

Or rather, "Glad, it's late November!" This solitary gladiolus seems to think it's summer, even though it is in a bed surrounded by dahlias that are all to seed and beginning to rot down. Maybe a fairy Dame Edna has touched it with her magic wand...
