Using up handouts

W has files full of handouts for courses, printed on coloured paper.  Now redundant, because the course is no longer run, or no longer run in the same way.

But W, like me, cannot part with stuff that is in good condition, so they sit in a filing cabinet waiting to "come in useful".  Yesterday, 9 sheets of A4 came in useful, protecting the window sills whilst we paint the wall in the study.
