Life through the lens...

By ValC

Choo, choo train.

It won the day.
Extra autumn shots on extras.

We have driven up from Essex to North Norfolk.
Stopped at Aylsham for a coffee and cheese scones.
Too full for anything else after a full English before we left Mersea Island.
A beautiful sunny day from start to finish.
No coats needed.

This afternoon we did one of our favourite walks round Sheringham Park.
Heard the train in the distance, and just managed to capture it through the trees. I was pleased to also get the windmill in the shot.
Afterwards noticed all the seagull in the field.

Also had a look at the winners of the International Garden Photographer of the Year, which were displayed in the garden.
Certainly inspiring.

Then down to Blakeney and a walk along the marshes.
Arrived at our B&B and a lovely welcome from Allison who gave us tea and a delicious slice of Apple and ginger cake. ( I have already requested the recipe.)

A lovely evening meal at Byfords in Holt, and now an early night for us both as we are shattered!

Many thanks for your comments, stars and hearts for the last couple of days. I will catch up with your journals later.
