In High Cotton

Highlight of our trip to Charleston was a elegant dinner party at the Thomas Bennett Home this evening. Everything from the She Crab soup to the sea salt caramel cheesecake was delicious. Dave and I loved touring this 19,000 square foot home established in 1822. The Charlestonian saying “in-high cotton” means you are rising in society. We rose in society for about three hours this evening. Reality hits once we are back home
