Knotty

I love trees like this with trunks that are full of holes and knots - I find them really interesting.  It's as if the trees are showing their age, as well as providing shelter for small wildlife I'm sure.  As a kid, you can bet I'd have been making use of all those holes and climbing that!   As the eldest for four and the other 3 being brothers, it always seemed much more fun and adventure-filled hanging out with them and their mates than with the girls.  Safe to say I still have that same spirit of adventure...maybe too much...I'm sure I'll grow up one day!
