Night fire red

We made a mud oven with the scout in the woods.
Instructions:
-Dig one small trench and light a fire in it.
-place a large old tin drum on top of the trench.
-place a short tin tube behind the drum to allow smoke out of the fire.
-cover everything but the front of the trench with mud.
-place tin foil packages of seasoned chicken pieces in the drum.
-wedge a cover on and leave for 15 minutes.
-remove and place in pitta breads.
Hey presto - bush tucker kebabs!
