Cadhay Manor House

We were invited to meet up with one of my husbands friends who happened to be staying at this amazing Tudor Manor House with  a group of friends.  The house and gardens are very interesting.  It was built in 1550 and a little while later included a long gallery that closed up the south side of the house to form an inner courtyard with statues of four Tudor Monarchs including Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary and Elizabeth one over each door.

The gardens include three large fish ponds, see extra and a walled garden which now includes allotments as well as extensive grassland.  A great chance to wander around the inside and outside of the house at our leisure.
