The last drop

Another dull, windy and showery day! Getting ready for the duller, windier and wetter day tomorrow, no doubt. I shall be on the 5.21 train to London tomorrow morning, so I'm hoping for better weather down south!

I had to go down to the town again today to take the car for its MOT - yes, it passed! - so walked past Lochavullin. These tankers had obviously sucked the last of the water off the car park and were discharging it into the Black Lynn. Several trees along the burn had been broken which makes me wonder again if there's any point in trying to improve this area if nobody takes any care about anything!

There were a number of drains open in the middle of the car park, showing huge pipes full of water. The level seemed higher than the nearby Black Lynn so maybe that's what's they'd been pumping out!
