Meridian

I was worried about the apples. Seems like a long time since an allotment visit now the evenings are unavailable.  

So I left the house at 6. 30, but quickly realised it was dark.  I picked them anyway - these amazing Meridian ones and the (slightly small) Sunset ones. 

And back for a day of pleasure - deliciously mushroom baked-egg brunch in  Ostara in Leith, a trip into town and more, but all at a slow pace.
