Edinburgh

Today felt like a proper weekend day.

I was out the door about 9:30 to get over to Edinburgh - a couple of errands to take care of and then lunch with my brother, my cousin and his wife. As usual, we laughed a lot.

The food was excellent too - Nepalese, which I hadn’t had for ages.

Then back across the water and I was home just after 4pm.

The Blip is the cafe where I had a coffee just after I’d arrived in the city. It’s at the top of the Mound, so the location is often ideal. Good coffee, good food, and pleasant staff. It’s in the Free Church of Scotland headquarters building so maybe it’s their venture.
