Spring Snow

As last night’s snow didn’t reach down here I drove up closer to the mountains to make the most of it. The road turns south, which means you see a different view of the familiar mountains. Here, Mount Torlesse is hardly recognisable, and Otarama on the right has surprising depth. The smaller peak behind the left-hand flank of Mount Torlesse is the Red Peak, which cannot be seen from my place. Note the spindrift on the mountain top. Best seen full screen.

The first extra is Ben More. “Station” on the sign means farm. Turning my back to the mountains I captured foothills with the water race in the foreground. The third extra shows The Torlesse Range arête peeping above the foothills.
