Purple flowers

I spotted these lovely purple flowers growing out of an old red stone wall on a lane at the edge of Kenilworth. I have no idea what they are but I'm sure some keen gardener will be able to tell me. I just liked the colour of the delicate petals and their star shaped growth... they brightened up another fairly grey morning.
