Always a bonus . . .

. . . when there is a champagne bar at the Knitting and Stitching Show. We did wait until after our workshop - otherwise knitting with wire and beads might have been a bit more difficult than it already was.

We admired some lovely work in the galleries section and managed to wander round the huge retail bit without spending too much - quite a triumph. A very warm day - we had lunch outside.

The boys had a tour of Highgate Cemetery, which they declared was excellent, and later they walked up with the dog to meet us at Alexandra Palace. They live close by, so we rested there and then went out for a lovely meal. A long day, but we got back eventually, by train and replacement bus, to Sevenoaks.

Looking forward to more tomorrow. We may get the rain, hopefully not as much as we seem to have missed in Cumbria.
