Escape

Since we came home from vacation, we had mice, ants, and now a plumbing issue that means we don’t have a kitchen. Add to that a heatwave that doesn’t want to let up, and I was ready to leave the country. So I called my friend J, and asked him if his long-standing pool invitation was still good. He said yes. We had a lovely time hanging out in the pool, eating, talking, exploring. The boys did very well, Henri working on charming O, j’ai wife, while Oli had his first violin lesson (he asked!)
