My lovely friend W was released from hospital today and asked us to join her for morning coffee by the sea.

She's just had a tumour removed from her brain.

She was only diagnosed two weeks ago, and now it's (fingers firmly crossed) all behind her.

It's been a heck of a worrying fortnight.
She was full of optimism and seeing things as if for the first time.
A lesson we could all take on board.

And people were swimming!
