Autumn has arrived

Safely home! Three weeks away has made a difference to the garden but at least the grass has hardly grown. We felt cold today having been used to warmer temperatures during our travels but I'd had the sense to pack some stuff that was suitable for mid-October in Scotland so we didn't fare too badly. A day spent unpacking, dealing with mail and having a brief catch up with the family before they head off on their tattie holiday break tomorrow.
