everything is well here at home. The children are well and having a great time, I can't say that they would be missing you (now you probably got angry), but they will be happy to see you when you are coming back home...."

This is how a letter to my mother from her mother, my grandmother starts. While my mother was abroad on a journey me, my little sister and brother were taken care of our grand parents at their country cottage.
