Geranium

Another flower blip because today has been so wet I had to do an indoor shot. In fact it never stopped until after 5pm

Other news is that my granddaughter's cat, Tibs, was found to have climbed up onto a nearby bungalow roof sometime during the night or early morning, and just sat there terrified and wouldn't move for anything, they tried to coax him with food and tit bits but to no avail, he was getting wetter and wetter, so she phoned the fire brigade, but they don't come out to rescue cats now, so she tried the wonderful RSPCA who said they didn't have a ladder and he would have to be up there for at least 24 hours before they could ask the fire brigade to get him down, If it was that long he would have been on his last legs if not dead he was so wet.

So she put out a plea for help on our local village facebook page for anyone with a ladder, and just as it began to stop raining she had a very kind person come with a ladder, climbed up and snared Tibs with a fishing net. He was soaked and very cold as well as hungry. So much for the caring RSPCA.

Mind you I did once find a cat at the side of the road that had been hit by a car, it was badly hurt and around 9.30 at night so no vets open. It was evident it was in terrible pain and so I rang the RSPCA who didn't come until 2.30 am and were not even sympathetic to the poor thing, I had put it in a box on a soft towel and she said can you put it in the cat carrier so I said it was so badly hurt I didn't think it should be moved so she just shrugged and said she would take it in the box then and shoved it in the back of the van, she never even looked at it. Thats my little rant.
