How good it is to see a friend you haven't seen in months! Although he was  slightly worried, he still regaled us with a good meal and, mostly, we talked of how the work in the house is going, of his various activities (choir, theatre, fishing, mushroom-picking), of our life in Brittany.

Too short of course, but a delight. Oh how good to have such a friend.
