Lovely leisurely breakfast and then headed off to st Mary's church . Very unpreposessing building- very like a large shed which had once be us d for cattle. Amazingly beautiful painted ceiling - sadly had left my phone in the car. Then drove to dunkeld for a potter round the heritage teal and a few shops, then a walk round the outside of the cathedral - part of which is being restored. Beautiful building but couldn't go inside as there was a service on. Then up to the Hermitage for a walk along the river to the waster fall. Stunning colours and incredibly powerful waster. WLk was shorter than we thought so time for a coffee by the river before driving to the lunch restaurant in bridge of earn. Not many covers but a lovely Sunday lunch. Back home to Edinburgh in time for a cup of tea and a little rest before going to nigella in conversation at the Queens Hall. Interesting in parts but she stemmed very unprepared and her views were muddled
