Ollie

Ollie seems to have perked up a bit so we went for a walk up to the cliffs.  He was fine and enjoyed himself, but I realised that although he knows the way very well, with his diminishing eye sight and wobbly back legs, we should probably stay away from the top path.  It's just a bit close to the edge!

A super afternoon, bright sunshine and blue skies so perfect for lots of gardening.  Mike helped me dig up the huge globe artichoke plants, which are taking up too much valuable ground, and needed a strong chap on the job, but I managed the fennel, which was growing far too close to the washing line.  I've put it in a pot, not sure it's going; it may stay in the pot and get moved around the garden wherever there's a bare spot!
Extras of a sky full of geese, and a very tired boy!
