A trip to Vasto down on the Abruzzo coast on a lovely warm day. Being a Sunday there was little open but the coastal views were lovely and learned that this was the home of Gabriele, father of Christina Rossetti, poet and ‘In the bleak midwinter’ fame.
Sat on the Curve to see local team Vastese warm a late draw in Series D.
