Every Picture Tells .....

Rover 110

MONDAY

I went into work this morning for a meeting and worked from home this afternoon. The morning got off to a good start and I also managed a 5 km run up to the moor and back at lunchtime.

I spotted this 1964 Rover in Market Street just after leaving the office. Announced in September 1962 these cars represented the end of an era. Their very full equipment included "electric windscreen washers".

When Motor magazine road tested a Rover 110 it reported a top speed of 100.0 mph, and a 0-60 mph time of 15.9secs from the 2625 cc engine.
