Clearly this little creature thinks that the Yarrow can still provide it with what it longs for.

As for identification it is very difficult for the amateur naturalist. My insect book has 93 pages of colour photographs of flies with between 6 and 10 per page. And some species have 37 varieties.

So my pleasure must be confined to getting a close up showing what hairy legs it has.
