Wild Deer at Petworth House.

      We visited Petworth House(National Trust) today and this shot was taken by Lynsey, our Daughter. It was a warm and sunny walk around the park plus it was busy. A glorious day.
      The deer were in great evidence all around the park and it was good to see. The shots we took of them were from quite a distance as it it was hard to get reasonably close to them before they noticed us. There were some people with pet dogs unleashed and they allow dogs to walk with you but ONLY on a leash. Wish people would take more notice of some rules they set down.
We unfortunately ran out of time to take a look around the house itself, but will have to leave that until the next time we go there.

      I have included a shot of the house itself which overlooks the lake and have put in a shot of some of the lovely autumn colours.

I feel a Blipmeet coming on. It is well worth the visit.
