First full day at nursery for Iris

Finally the hand, foot and mouth has cleared up and Iris was able to join Esther at nursery. She apparently hasn’t been ‘too bad’ for a first day, whatever that means. She did burst into tears when she saw me though and big smiles when I picked her up.

It’s true, absence does make the heart grow fonder. From the picture she is clearly happy to be home. Esther not so much.

Reasons to be cheerful:
First day alone as a freelancer and it was rather nice having Spotify on rather than CBeebies!
