Roast dinner with the girls and their other halves. Then all too soon it was time to take them back to the station -Cait's and El on the train to Liverpool and poor Matt with an epic bus replacement trip to Swansea. We managed an hour in the garden as the sun appeared as soon as they disappeared-tidying, seed planting and cutting back. Love the colour of this Guelder Rose (Viburnum Opulus) in Gill's garden. I've been keeping an eye on the berries because apparently it's a favourite of Bullfinches but I've not seen them near it.
