Bit of a damp day!!

This morning was very wet but thanks to my gizmo I can draw outside and keep the paper dry for long enough to grab a quick sketch. Then it was back inside to paint from the drawing and a quick photo .... luckily this afternoon the sun broke through the cloud just long enough to get this small painting done. I love seeing sunbeams lighting distant areas of the landscape and tried to capture it in this picture. Each glimpse was fleeting!
