Tuesday: Granville Island

I started the day with a pleasant breakfast meeting which meant being in town pretty early. A day in the office, following which I left a little earlier to attend the opening of the Vancouver Writers' Fest - always a treat. I spent some time chatting to one of the British authors who was there, Sofka Zinoviev. I did have to 'fess up to not having read her book - it was either that or pretend.

Granville Island is always a nice place to be and is always rich in details. I loved the way the sun shone on this peeling paint this evening.
