Last time

Every autumn our drive and the road outside are thick with beech leaves and the car tyres crunch on the nuts. The leaves are a real trial to Normous who has to sweep them up.
But all this is coming to an end in the middle of November as this massive tree is being felled because it has become dangerous, having been attacked by a fungus. I blipped the fungus few weeks ago (sept 19th) It was most impressive, but deadly. Luckily the tree is not in our garden, so we don't have the huge expense of cutting it down.
It has been a very damp day, not forecast. Normous set off to play golf in shorts and got rather cold and wet!
