Just another day on the canal

Ranchot to Rochefort sur Nenon today. A cool start to the day with a light mist rising from the water but the sun has stayed with us, though the best now mitigated by a light haze, a little high cloud and a gentle breeze. A short day's travel and we moored in time to fetch a sandwich lunch from the boulangerie. This afternoon we scaled the cliff, to find not just a footpath along the ridge but a whole park. A gentle and relaxing day even if Fitbit reports 17 flights of stairs..
