Mirnock - Nockberge, Austria - 2110m

Today we are taking advantage of the open hill roads to get up one of the local hills that is not blessed with alpine roads or skilifts. Despite this we still had a stiff 600m haul to get up to the top through the autumnal spruce woods above Millstätter See.

Over the top and down the other side to loop around on a 'contouring' forest trail to take us back to the beginning. The steep wooded ground was home to Chamoix (Gemse) who kept a wary eye on us from up above.
