Traditional

I received a delightful parcel this morning.  I had ordered on-line and there were emails telling me of the progress of my order which came in a battered but intact cardboard box.  It looked very much that this was not the first journey the box had taken.  Inside were tulip bulbs with each variety packed in its own paper bag.  The tulips did not fill the box but the packed newspaper did.  Inside was a handwritten receipt for payment.  All very old-fashioned, all compostable and no plastic.  This is the future.

The blipped hypericum looked glorious in the autumn sunshine.
