Barging by...

A lazily ebbing tide and a monochrome morning provided this perfect backdrop to Will Everard's escape from an enveloped City.
Will is one of the largest iron-hulled Thames Barges ever built, in service continually for over ninety years.
She was bombed, strafed and survived WW2, is now listed in maritime historical terms and survives shuttling fatcats along the estuary coast
My wild highland pal Neily was her first mate for a while and great parties were held in her hold when they were in dock.
