Three Miles for This!

I ran into some local birding guides this morning and they said there was a lot of activity at Gordon Pond in Cape Henlopen State Park.  So I drove over,  parked the car, and walked 1.5 miles to Gordon's Pond.  Other than a few a few seagulls and a couple of Mallard ducks, there was NOTHING.  It was a beautiful day out so not all was lost and I did run into this critter on the way back to the car.  So he will have to do for today.

BTW - When I was driving out of the park, a beautiful American Bald Eagle flew right above my car.  I guess you cannot win them all...
