River Mersey

A lovely walk along the River Mersey today. Although we saw heron, wagtail, goosander and a kingfisher the low, bright sun actually made it hard to photograph anything (and the kingfisher didn't sit still for long). Not that I'm complaining about it being nice and sunny!
