Chilly!

Beautiful blue skies, no wind and best of all no work for me or a friend who had suggested a dip. We ignored the frost on the ground and enjoyed the sun on our faces and had a delightful swim in the Wharfe at Burley, I left my wetsuit on the bank too! A second breakfast of porridge and coffee whilst the sun warmed us, then headed home to make pizza and a different kind of chill in my yoga class.

Post school was cross country for C, a run that last year was so wet and muddy that I had the runners stripped off and wrapped in towel in the car going home. This time was warm and sunny, so much more pleasant and a lot less washing!
