Spiders!!

Just as well its only a spider orchid!  Such an amazing flower. We only see them for about 4 weeks in spring. They are on the way out now. In fact, I could only find 3 on our block today. Plenty of pink fairies and donkey orchids but very few of these alien looking plants.
Mike the Slasher will be here next week to slash all the wild oats and other grasses in preparation for the fire season. Bye bye orchids :((
