Day 292/18. The Spinnaker Tower viewing galleries

The Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth today, taken from Spice Island.
A high speed lift takes you to the lower gallery, 100 metres above Portsmouth Harbour. The centre gallery, at 105 metres is a cafe and restaurant (with a great view) and the top gallery, at 110 metres is open to the elements and moves 150mm in a strong wind. Surrounded in controversy when first built, the Spinnaker Tower is now a major attraction to one of the souths best renovated waterfronts. I think its fabulous.
