Remembrance

Did I tell you that Peru will be hosting a Veteran's Day poppy installation very similar to that held in Great Britain? The ceramic poppies are in production, made and painted by locals. The businesses will join in Remembrance Day activities on Second Saturday, the 10th, which also happens to be the United States Marine Corp's birthday. Anyway, we each painted a poppy themed piece and had them made into cards. I think they are rather nice. We've already sold all but 14 boxes (out of a single run printing of 50) so I consider it a success.
