'n Kiekie 'n Dag

Gave the ladies some yoghurt which was forgotten in the fridge. It was messy, but enjoyable.

There was a fox hunt this afternoon in the fields around us. I didn't see the hunt, only heard the shouting - not what I would call very aristocratic/civilised/posh - and 2 riders that stood guard next to our house. I guess they were there to intercept any dogs who went off the track.

This was the first fox hunt after we had a pack of about 25 hounds stampeding towards C & me standing in our garden (we don't have a fence between our garden & the adjacent field) with the master of the hunt chasing at full speed shouting "Order! Order!" She managed to turn them around about 30 yards from us. The Master of the hunt was panicking & judging by the hysteria in her voice she didn't even try to pretend otherwise. The dogs had fun though.

The whole episode might have been caused by C whistling when the hunt was on the bridle way 500 yards away.

No foxes were harmed in the telling of this story.
