Doxey Pool

The pool is a small tarn found beside the path on the top of the Roaches which is is a rocky sandstone escarpment on the western part of the Peak District. One of its legends about this supposedly bottomless pool is about Jenny Greenteeth who is a type of mermaid who lures people into the water, never to be seen again. It seemed impossible to believe on such a bright sunny morning!
