Cadaqués

After last night’s heavy rain in the Pyrenees a day wandering the steps and alleyways of Cadaqués. Home (if briefly) to Dalí, Lorca, Miró, Picasso, Duchamp and others, Cadaqués always seems to me like a little piece of Greece that has floated off and lodged itself in the last outcrops of the Pyrenees as they fall into the sea.
White walls, intense blue painted windows, cats lounging in steep alleys and its island-like remoteness, I promise myself that one day I’ll spend 6 months here. One day.
