CRUET

I believe this is the correct English word for a dispenser of oil & vinegar - looks suspiciously French to me...

My mother bought this in deepest rural France in the late 1950's.

Always loved it for its whimsical design.

And despised it for the total lack of practicality!

The love won out over the scorn!
