Bite update

The wound had looked like it was doing ok, but today it was starting to look a bit red and swollen, so it was off to the vet with Mr Perkins.

“He’s been fighting again.”

“I see. Did you win, Mr Perkins?”

“Mew.”

“Didn’t you? Aw.”

I thought the bite might have been from a rat, but the vet thought it could even be from a mole or hedgehog. And to think they tell you to put cat food out for hedgehogs. Clearly, that’s just asking for trouble.

Mr Perkins got an antibiotic injection and a course of painkillers. Poor beast.
