Learning day by day

Siblings!

Will came to London with us today. It was a fabulously sunny warm October afternoon so we wandered round a very busy Borough Market. Will managed to have a bee land on his face, very close to his eye! He was very calm, only flapping his arm to get me to realise what had happened. Bee removed, we had a very delicious brownie each. Our secret as we both meant to keep some for C, but didn't manage!

From there we went along South Bank, across Millennium bridge, towards St. Paul's, where we found huge wands from Harry Potter world. They were there to promote new Fantastic Beasts film. I recognised all of them except the one that belonged to the young Gelert Grindelwald. Will was impressed, although he also recognised Ron"s and Voldemort's.

Magical mystery bus ride back to somewhere near Holborn then coffee and reading time before collecting Carys. Tubes were all over the place because of the People's March, so we were late back to KC and too late home to get to church. That had its positive side as we had both kids in bed earlier than normal. Both were asleep very quickly.
